Vicenza.

Vicenza

A Unesco heritage jewel worth a visit from the medieval walls to admire the architecture of  Andrea Palladio, the palaces, the walk along Corso Palladio that leads from Piazza Castello to the Teatro Olimpico and Palazzo Chiericati, site of the Civic Museum.
And again, visit Piazza dei Signori dominated by the Palladian Basilica and the Loggia del Capitano.
Without forgetting the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Monte Berico that protects the city, the famous Villa Capra called "La Rotonda" by Andrea Palladio and a few steps away, Villa Valmarana Ai Nani.

Nearby Vicenza, we find Bassano del Grappa and Marostica on the slopes of Monte Grappa, both of which are worth a visit. Bassano, capital of Military Corps of Alpini, by the river bank of Ponte Vecchio you can taste a grappa and get lost in its corners of rare beauty.
Marostica, a walled city famous for the Chess Game in its square with living figures has a unique atmosphere to immerse yourself in the medieval era.
